Danyang-Kunshan Grand Bridge

The Danyang-Kunshan Grand Bridge is the Worlds longest bridge in the Beijing-Shanghai High-speed railway. The Bridge is 164 kilometers long. The Danyang-Kunshan Grand bridge construction started in 2006 and it is opened on June 2011. The total Construction cost of a bridge is an 8.5 Billion Dollar. It is on the Yangtze River Delta and runs parallel to the Yangtze River. The bridge passes through Danyang, Changzhou, Suzhou, Wuxi, and Kunshu. Bridge also passes through 9 Kilometre long portion over Yangcheng Lake in Suzhou.

Tianjin Grand Bridge

Tianjin Grand Bridge is also a part of Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Railway which runs between Langfang and Qingxian. It is the second longest Bridge with a length of 113.7 kilometers.
Tianjin Grand bridge Construction starts in 2006 and opened in June 2011. The Bridge contains 32-meter long box girders which have more than 860 tons of weight. Tianjin Grand bridge has an elevated track to avoid structures for crossing roads and railways.

Lake Pontchartrain Causeway

The Lake Pontchartrain has a length of 38.35 kilometers. It has two parallel bridges which cross a Lake Pontchartrain in Louisiana, United States of America The bridge has a toll of $5 and it is opened on August 1956. The Lake Pontchartrain Causeway is supported by 9500 concrete pilings. From 1969, it was listed as longest bridge over water in the World; but in 2011, the opening of Jiaozhou Bridge Bay bridge in China creates some controversies. Guinness World record declare longest bridge is the bridge which is continuous and aggregate over water based on this, Pontchartrain bridge is the longest bridge.

Manchac Swamp Bridge

Manchac Swamp Bridge has a total length of 36.7 kilometers and a width of 95 meters. It is opened in 1979 and located in the U.S State of Louisiana. The Manchac Swamp bridge is one of the longest bridge over water. The Manchac swamp bridge had a deep foundation of 250 feet beneath the swamp.
The cost of the bridge is $7 million per mile to complete.

Hangzhou Bay Bridge

Hangzhou Bay Bridge is 35.6 kilometers long and it has 448-meter depth span. its construction started on June 2003 and ended on June 2007. It is a highway bridge which has a shaped-cable design. Hangzhou Bay bridge is located in the Eastern coastal region of China, connects Jiaxing and Ningbo in Zhejiang province. The Hangzhou bridge shortens the distance between Ningbo and Shanghai from 400 km to 180 km. it is also among the longest transoceanic bridges.

Runyang Yangtze River Bridge

The Runyang Yangtze River Bridge is a part of the Yangzhou-Liyang expressway. the total cost of a bridge is $700 million. A bridge crosses the Yangtze River in Jiangsu province. China in the downstream of Nanjing. The Runyang Yangtze river bridge opened on April 2005 and the total length of the bridge complex is 35.66 kilometers. It has a height of 215 meters.

Donghai Bridge

Donghai Bridge is the longest cross-sea bridge in the earth. it has a length of 32.5 kilometers and the longest span of 420 meters. The Donghai bridge has a beam bridge and cable-stayed design. A bridge was completed on December 2005.  The Donghai bridge connects Shanghai's Pudong new area with the Yangshan deep-water port.

Zhuhai-Macau Bridge

The Zhuhai-Macau Bridge is also officially known as HongKong-Zhuhai-Macau bridge. The Bridge connects HongKong, Zhuhai, Macau and total cost of construction of a bridge is $18.8 Billion. It is a 55-kilometer long bridge-tunnel, consisting of a series of Cable-stayed bridges, undersea tunnel, and artificial islands. The Zhuhai-Macau bridge is the longest sea crossing and longest open-sea fixed the link. Construction of Zhuhai-Macau bridge was started December 2009 and ended on February 2018.

Atchafalaya Basin Bridge

The Atchafalaya Basin bridge is the third longest bridge in the U.S. It has a length of 29 kilometers and a width of 40 feet. The bridge is opened in 1973 and construction began in 1971. It is also known as the Louisiana Airborne Memorial bridge. The Atchafalaya basin bridge located between Baton Rouge and Lafayette. it is also known as a 20-mile bridge.
